Third-Party Website Shipping

All A Touch of Design purchases made on any third-party platform are subject to that platform's shipping policies. In addition, if a customer has purchased a product from A Touch of Design on any third-party platform, that third-party platform has the option to select the shipper of its choice.

Shipping Policy

The following pertains to purchases made directly from A Touch of Design.

A Touch of Design ships only in the continental U.S. and Canada (A Touch of Design can only do small parcel shipments in Canada, not LTL Freight). For all Canadian shipments, customers are responsible for any duties or tariffs. All orders, including freight or small parcel, are shipped prepaid and those charges will be added to the customer’s invoice. The customer will be charged at the time of shipment. Deposits may be required for any special or custom orders.

A Touch of Design reserves the right to select the carrier of its choice for all shipments.

Damages

A Touch of Design carefully inspects all its shipments before they leave the warehouse. Upon delivery of your shipment, please follow the below procedures (WARNING: Failure to follow these procedures voids any warranty and waives any return rights you may have):

Freight Shipments

  1. Inspect the shipment upon arrival while the driver is still present. You have the legal right to inspect your package and the driver may not threaten to leave until you have found that the package has arrived in a satisfactory condition.
  2. If the shipment is damaged or missing any of its parts, please note it on the Bill of Lading, which the driver has provided to you. Failing to do so will waive your right to return the shipment.
  3. If the shipment is damaged, you may refuse it. If you do not refuse it, you may not return it at a later time.
  4. If you choose to accept the shipment with deficiencies, please notify A Touch of Design immediately of the damage or shortage and include photos of said damage or shortage. A Touch of Design will provide as much help as it can, given that the shipment was accepted with deficiencies.

Small Parcel Shipments

  1. Inspect the shipment upon arrival. If the driver is still present, inspect while he/she is still present and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
  2. If the shipment is damaged, you may refuse it. If you do not refuse it, you may not return it at a later time.
  3. If the shipment is damaged or missing any of its parts, please notify A Touch of Design immediately, and include photos of said damage or shortage. A Touch of Design will provide as much help as it can, given that the shipment was accepted with deficiencies.

Return Policy

Before a buyer accepts the delivery, the products should be inspected for defects or damages. All requests for return and refund for defective or damaged products shall be made within twenty four (24) hours from receipt of the products. New and unopened products sold by Seller may be returned within fifteen (15) days from the date of purchase, provided that buyer shall be responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return and a restocking fee in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the purchase price. All return and refund requests shall be made in accordance with the procedure specified in Section “How to Obtain Warranty Service” on our Warranty and Return Policy page. Original receipts are required for all returns.
